บริษัท โตโยต้า มอเตอร์ ประเทศไทย จำกัด แนะนำยนตรกรรมหรูให้ลูกค้าชาวไทยได้สัมผัสล่าสุดกับ “ไฮบริดแฮทช์แบคคันแรกของโลก” เลกซัส CT200h ใหม่ รถขนาดคอมแพ็คท์ห้าประตูรุ่นแรกของเลกซัส ด้วยระบบไฮบริดเต็มรูปแบบรุ่นแรกและรุ่นเดียวในเซ็กเม้นท์รถขนาดคอมแพ็คท์ระดับพรีเมี่ยม ด้วยการยึดหลักแนวการออกแบบของคอนเซ็พท์คาร์ LF-Ch ทำให้รูปลักษณ์ของ CT 200h มีเส้นสายที่คมกริบ หนักแน่น และเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะโดดเด่นจากคู่แข่งทั้งปวง
พร้อมตอบรับกับทุกแบบฉบับในการขับขี่ ด้วยสวิตช์ควบคุมโหมดการขับขี่ Drive Mode Select ซึ่งติดตั้งอยู่บริเวณกลางคอนโซล ทำให้ผู้ขับขี่สามารถเลือกโหมดการขับขี่ในแบบ Dynamic หรือ แบบ Relaxing โดยจะแสดงผ่านสีของไฟบนหน้าปัด

I. ความรื่นรมย์ (Pleasure) ในการขับขี่ กับสมรรถนะที่โดดเด่นและเหนือกว่ากับ
Lexus Hybrid Drive System

การออกแบบภายนอก (Exterior)
ดีไซนอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัวของ Hybrid (Distinctive Styling for Hybrid) สะท้อนภาพลักษณ์ใหม่ ภายใต้ปรัชญาการออกแบบ “L-finesse” ผ่านเส้นสายของตัวถังที่ลื่น ไหลไปตามหลักอากาสพลศาสตร์ ด้วยค่าสัมประสิทธ์แรงเสียดทานต่ำ (Cd) เพียง 0.29 อีกทั้ง รูปทรงของโป่งล้อที่กว้างเพื่อรองรับกับซุ้มล้อ ทำให้รถดูต่ำแนบพื้น พร้อมฝากระโปรงหน้า และประตูท้ายทำจากอลูมิเนียม ทำให้ตัวรถมีจุดศูนย์ถ่วง (CG) ที่ต่ำ รับกับหลังคาที่เทลาด ให้ อารมณ์สปอร์ตรวมถึงการทรงตัวที่ดี

Lexus introduces the world’s first full luxury hybrid hatchback

Ltd., Mr.Osamu Sadakata, Chief Engineer of Toyota Motor Corporation, Japan and Mr.Wichien Emprasertsuk, Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Thailand Co. Ltd., jointly presided at the official press launch of the Lexus CT200h in Bangkok on February 22 at the Renaissance Hotel.
The Lexus CT200h is the world’s first luxury hybrid hatchback that is based on the Lexus LF-Ch concept vehicle. Result is sharp and bold design, making it stand out from competitors in the 5-door luxury hatchback market.
The Drive Mode Select function, with controls on the center console, allows the driver to choose between “Dynamic” or “Relaxing” modes. Meanwhile, the CT200h is also the first vehicle from Lexus to come with horizontal suspension both front and rear, offering increased comfort as well as control.
Mr.Tanada said, “The CT200h has been designed and manufactured under the ‘Yet Philosophy’ which is unique to Lexus and means combining different ideas that may not seem possible. 1. Driving -- Pleasure from the outstanding performance and Lexus Hybrid Drive System
The CT200h’s 4-cylinder 1.8-liter Atkinson-cycle gasoline engine, with EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) and VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing-intelligent) offers both outstanding performance as well as fuel efficiency. It is mated to electric motors from the Lexus Hybrid Drive system to offer performance of a 2.0-liter engine but produces the lowest carbon dioxide levels in its class. In addition, the driver can select between two driving modes – Dynamic and Ralaxing (2 moods 2 modes) – which are displayed via blue and red lighting on the dashboard. High-output electric motor
Lexus has developed a new Power Control Unit (PCU) that efficiently converts electric power as well as high-output electric motor generators that converts high voltage from the PCU to drive power. The system offer silent and powerful acceleration both when taking off or at high speeds in a way that normal gasoline engines can not achieve.

Transmission developed specially for hybrid engines
The electric motor, generator and power split device are all housed in one highly compact casing the size of a conventional gearbox, with drive to the front wheels provided by Lexus Hybrid Drive’s quiet and smooth shift-by-wire, Electronically-controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT).
The CT 200h is also equipped with four drive-modes. In Normal, Eco and EV modes the dashboard light will be illuminated in blue, and in Sport mode it will turn to red. Sport mode provides more direct Electric Power Steering (EPS) settings and throttle while the PCU boosts drive voltage to a maximum output of 650 volts from the normal 500 volts. Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and Traction Control (TRAC) are less intrusive when Sport mode is selected, allowing for more lively driving.
2. Pride -- Prestige and L-finesse design
Exterior
The distinctive hybrid styling reflects the “L-finesse” design philosophy through the aerodynamic body shape, with a drag coefficiency of only 0.29. The large wheel arches and short overhangs give the CT200h a dynamic look, while the hood and rear hatch are made of aluminium to minimize weight. The low center of gravity, steeply rakes windshield and flowing roofline also gives a sporty appeal as well as good handling.

High-efficiency LED rear and brake lights offer high visibility, have short response times and are long-lasting.
Interior
The interior is designed under the HMI (Human-Machine interface) concept with clearly divided display and operational zones. This allows the driver to operate them without having to change posture or divert attention from the road, resulting in higher convenience and safety.
3. Intelligence – World-class safety, unmatched technology and first-class features
EMV Remote Control Device – The computer mouse-styled controller on the center console makes it easy to operate various features with display being shown on an EMV (Electro-Multi Vision) screen
Front seats – Prevents occupants with passive headrest to prevent whiplash injuries during a rear-end collision.
Lexus Navigation System – Displays DVD-styled maps and come with voice navigation. It is also quick and convenient to search and zoom various locations. This is the first time in Thailand that a luxury vehicle can display traffic conditions in Bangkok on a real-time basis, with information from the Thai Traffic Police’s Information Center allowing for the most convenient route planning.
4. Social Responsibility – Environment-friendly manufacturing process and Lexus Hybrid Drive system
Thanks to the Lexus Hybrid Drive system, the CT200h, which passes the Euro V standards, produces just 94gm/km of CO2 (average) and has the lowest fuel consumption in its class at 24.4km/liter (average).
